Common Questions
These are the most common questions that we get. We have lined them up for you so that it can make your green coffee sourcing simpler.
The MOQ for our coffees is just 1 bag! Each bag can vary between 30kg to 70kg, depending on how it was packed at origin. We do not repack nor sell in loose quantities.
Yes. In fact, we highly encourage you to evaluate the flavours of the coffee before purchasing a full bag of coffee, especially if it is the first time that you will be using a new type of coffee.
We can send you either. We encourage you to roast the samples on your own, to understand how coffee reacts during roasting so that it will be easier for you to translate the roast to a production curve. We can also send you a recommended roasting curve/profile as a stepping-off point and you can tweak the roast according to your desired profile. Each green bean sample is 350gm, sufficient for both green defect analysis and roasting.
If you do not have access to a sample roaster, we can send you roasted samples, roasted according to our in-house profile. Each roasted sample is 100gm and will be sent a minimum of 1 working day after the roast.
We do not charge for samples and courier fees; therefore, we will cap the maximum types of samples to 5 coffees. Reach out to your appointed traders or contact us here to find proper recommendations based on your requirements.
Alternatively, you may want to arrange to come to our fully equipped cupping lab to taste the coffees of your choice and leave the preparation to us.
