Indonesia Origin
Prized for the heavy-bodied coffees, Indonesia has long cemented its contributions to coffee both within the specialty and the robusta realms. Check out our locally sourced specialty coffees.
Imported origins
We love local. But we’re also here to broaden horizons.
Coffee grows far and wide, and each locality offers unique flavours. From Asia to Africa, all the way to South America in the Southern Hemisphere, we supply foreign origins to expand the range of available flavours in Indonesia.
Arabica
Coffee consumption in volume and taste preferences in Indonesia has been growing. Locally, domestic production of Arabica has been unable to satisfy the amplified demand.
Situated in a coffee-growing country, we understand the cycles of production and harvests of coffee across the globe. We import beans that complement the archipelago to ensure a stable, secure, and sustainable supply.
We source from NKG’s network of exports – where we ensure transparency, quality, and consistency.
Robusta
Robusta makes for the main pie of the country’s coffee exports. Our sister company, PT Berindo Jaya, has built a legacy of exporting Robusta and has developed expertise as a comprehensive solution from farming and milling to quality and sales.
To supplement the rapid increase in coffee drinkers, NKG Indonesia Imports endeavours to be the top solution for coffee imports across Indonesia.
Origin Day Programs
It’s not easy to buy without understanding your preferences.
Origin Day Programs are cupping sessions for clients to give them space to explore flavours and what they think their customers will like. It also helps us build profiles for our clients to recommend coffee for their businesses.
Known for their unique and specialized assets and relationships with producing countries, Nordic Approach offers only the best coffee that a coffee origin can offer. Tapping on their expertise, we are able to offer our partners access to their specially curated coffees either from their Belgium warehouse or their Tropiq exporters to roasters in Indonesia.
Every quarter, we will host a cupping event under the Origin Day Program to feature Nordic Approach’s best coffees that is suited for the Indonesian market. We will consolidate the orders from roasters across Asia under the NKG Asia Hub in Singapore and NKG Indonesia Imports will arrange the coffee to be delivered to our warehouse is Taman Tekno or up to the roaster’s doorstep.
Integrated Facilities
Housed in Tanggerang, the new central business district just off the city centre, the strategic location of NKG Indonesia Imports’ office helps us ensure that your green coffees maintain their quality.The combination of a warehouse close to roasters, and the ability to control its temperature and humidity helps create the best odds of sustaining the freshness of your green beans.
Apart from the warehouse and office space, the premises is also outfitted with a cupping lab and a sample roasting room. The all-in-one space allows us to get your coffee to you as efficiently as possible.
